Social & Special Interest Groups & Activities

 

 

Social Eyes For The Over 60s

Provides an opportunity for clients and carers to meet socially at our morning or afternoon sessions.  Sessions are on a weekly basis (Thursdays), where you can enjoy a cup of tea/coffee and have a chat!  Many new friendships have been made.  Recently invited visitors include Safer Neighbourhood Police Team (Sutton West); Paul Burstow MP; Tom Brake MP; LBS Pension/Benefits Advisor; Age Concern and Home Fire Safety Co-ordinator.

 

 

   

Poetry & Discussion  

A group that meets every four weeks (Mondays). 

For poetry enthusiasts of any age who want to listen to poems or bring their own to be read.  2 hrs duration and lunch is provided at cost. 

 

 

Reminiscence Group For The Over 75s

Meet every four weeks, (two separate groups), on Mondays.

 2 hrs duration and lunch is provided at cost. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Music Appreciation Group  

For all ages interested in jazz, classical, theatre music and the composers. 

The group meets every four weeks (Monday's), appx 2  hours duration.  Lunch is provided at cost. 

 

 

 

Exercise & Relaxation 

A simple class for chair based and other exercise, including relaxation. 1 hour each week (Monday afternoons).
